Retube: Custom YouTube Feeds. Organize your YouTube subscriptions by interest.
A feed is a collection of your favorite channels on one topic, with their latest uploads in one place. Make one for learning, one for DIY, one for anything, or see everything together in All videos. A channel can belong to more than one feed.
Why Retube exists
YouTube’s subscription feed mixes every channel you follow into one stream, so the uploads you came for get buried under everything else. Retube lets you group channels by interest and catch up on one topic at a time, without leaving YouTube.
Who makes Retube
Retube is built and maintained by Uptek. It is a free Chrome extension, available on the Chrome Web Store.
Your feeds inside YouTube
Open your feeds from Retube’s section in YouTube’s sidebar or from the extension popup. Feeds, channel management, and help all stay inside YouTube.
Your feeds stay yours
Your feed library is stored on your device. Retube does not have an account system, analytics, or a backend that receives your feeds. It does not track the videos you open or watch. Videos open on YouTube, where playback and playlist controls belong.
How your feed stays up to date
Uploads come directly from channel pages using your YouTube tab’s session. Refresh checks for new videos immediately. Older uploads load as you scroll, with Load more available when filters are active.
Recent uploads use timestamps from YouTube’s public feed. Older dates can be approximate, and Shorts without a published date appear after dated videos. Sign-in-only content may be unavailable.
Help and your local data
Help & support includes setup instructions, troubleshooting, and backup, restore, and deletion controls. The privacy policy explains what is stored and which requests Retube makes.
